About Us
Established in 1588
Established in 1588, The Wren’s Nest Pub is nestled along the River Liffey in the Strawberry Beds, Dublin. The Wren’s Nest is steeped in History dating back to 1588 when across the road, there was a local Iron and Starch works, the pub was the local haunt for the workers of the mill.
We are a family run pub which has been in the family for over five generations, since the early 1800s. Check out our History section for an extensive history of the pub.
The Wren’s Nest is a traditional Irish pub, with live music every weekend as well as host of other events supporting the local community.

Is their public transport available?
Not currently however we are only 30 minutes from Dublin City Centre, 6 minutes from Lucan, 10 minutes from pretty much all of Dublin 15. We have a taxi butler service installed so taxis home are no issue either.
What events do we hold, eg: Private Parties, Quiz Nights, Live Music
Live Music takes place most Saturday nights as well as a quiz which takes place the first week of the month. Check out our events page or our social media to find out more. We also offer parties such as birthdays, Christening, Weddings etc. Contact us to see how we can help.
